Dear Summer Camp 2023 Students,

As you all know by now, each one of you is extremely dear to me. In my interaction with you in the last few weeks, I have come to know of you well and it fills me with joy to see that each one of you put in your best efforts and learned your chosen activities well in this summer camp. 

As this summer camp is coming to an end in the next few days, I wanted to summarize some key takeaways, some very important lessons that I believe you should remember for the rest of your lives! Here's what I believe you should remember in terms of learnings in this summer camp : 

First and foremost, you all attended the summer camp daily, day after day, ON TIME! By doing this, we learn the Power of Intention, that of committing to a certain activity and doing it consistently for a long period of time. 

Secondly, as we learned day after day, what seemed like difficult lessons became easier and easier. So much so that ALL of you have completely memorized ALL the shlokas. You are playing difficult guitar and keyboard tunes with reasonable ease. You remembered difficult musical notes and their sequence, you began to understand the mathematics involved in music, you have become considerably better at drawing painting, and the craft, and your dance steps are smoother and in rhythm. 

By means of going through the above-mentioned learning, there are a number of things we have learned:

1. We learned the power of intention
2. We learned the importance of discipline
3. We learned the power of repetition
4. With discipline and the power of repetition, we learned that anything no matter how difficult it may seem can become easier if we do a little bit of it every day
5. As we tried to learn the many activities, we realized that we have no other choice but to concentrate and focus on the task at hand

All these and many things we learned in the summer camp will most definitely apply to any learning - be it your academic courses, sports, music, dance, art, competitive exams, or just about any learning that you will ever undertake throughout your life. 

So achieving a high level of success and excellence is possible in anything with the discipline of regularity, focus, and dedication. And all this is not boring at all. We did it all at the same time as having loads of fun :) Speaking of fun, remember our summer picnic? It was soo much fun!

As I mentioned at the beginning of this note, you all are very dear to me although, at times, I might have been slightly strict with you but believe me that was necessary, and it's part of my job as a teacher. 

I truly believe that each one of you has the potential to achieve excellence in your chosen subjects. Please remember the summer camp lessons forever! Good luck.
